★About the Artist

☆mikayo☆

Photographer of Light
Born in Echizen City, Fukui, Japan
After losing her voice for six years due to severe stress, mikayo☆ found a path to
healing through repeated visits to the local guardian shrine, where she began
capturing the presence of light.
In 2021, she established her practice as a Photographer of Light.
Her work has been exhibited internationally, including in France, Vienna, Vietnam,
and Tokyo, as well as at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa,
and UNESCO World Heritage sites.
